We are so happy to have you join our community and will do our best to provide supportive, professional guidance, and lifestyle tools to assist you in creating the lifestyle you want.
Due to the high demand of clients and students, we have the following policies in place. Please read carefully and email modernspirit@comcast.net with any questions.
The Modern Spiritualist Policies:

Scope of Coaching Services:
​
Conscious Coaching is an alternative way to offer Coaching in a variety of areas.
Here at TMS, we cover a wide range of services all designed to help you
lead a healthier, more balanced, and conscious lifestyle.
Coaching is a partnership designed to support clients in achieving their personal and professional goals.
Coaching services do not include therapy, counseling, or other forms of mental health treatment.
The coach will provide a safe, confidential, and supportive environment to facilitate growth and development.
Payment:
Payment is due at the time of each booking. This secures your appointment.
No exceptions. We accept most major credit cards, check, Venmo and PayPal.
Packages:
If you are purchasing a package, payment is due at the time of purchase,
unless otherwise agreed upon with your Coach.
Client Cancellation:
If you are a Coaching client, we require 24 hours notice to cancel your session and to receive a refund or rebook.
If you do not provide 24 hours notice for the 1st cancellation,
the cancellation fee is $50.00
Any additional cancellations without 24-hour notice are $150.00 per cancellation.
If you fail to pay your missed appointment fee, then your sessions are terminated indefinitely.

Coach Cancellation:
If your Coach needs to cancel an appointment,
you are entitled to a refund or rebooking for that session.
If your Coach is unable to provide the agreed-upon service,
you may receive a full refund for your purchase(s).

Coaching Termination:
​
Your Coach will re-evaluate your progress after four sessions to make sure that the Coaching is still progressive and satisfactory for both the Client and the Coach.

Either party has the right to terminate the coaching agreement under the following conditions:

Client-Initiated Termination:
The client may terminate the agreement at any time, with written notice provided to the coach. Refunds (if any) for unused sessions will be subject to the terms of the agreement.

Coach-Initiated Termination:
The coach reserves the right to terminate the agreement under circumstances such as:

Non-payment of fees

Breach of this policy by the client

Use of abusive language or behavior

Lack of respect for the Coach's time

Situations where the coaching relationship is no longer beneficial or appropriate.

In the event of termination, both parties will make reasonable efforts to ensure a smooth conclusion to the coaching relationship.
Conflict of Interest:

The coach will avoid any conflict of interest in the coaching relationship. Any potential conflicts will be disclosed, and a resolution will be sought in line with professional guidelines.
We have a list of professionals that specialize in health and wellness, and mental health and are LICSW. If your Coach feels that another professional may be better suited, a referral will be provided and your Coaching sessions will cease.

Travel/On-Location Services:
If you are requesting an on-location service, travel and set-up fees apply. Be sure to discuss this fully with your facilitator or artist. All fees are due upfront. Cancellation fees will apply without a minimum of 7 days' written notice for ALL on-location events and services. A consultation and term of services will be provided for each on-location service.
Confidentiality:
The Modern Spiritualist is PCI Compliant and does not share your personal information or store your payment info. All new clients are required to have a complimentary consultation and to sign a confidentiality agreement that outlines all services and length of sessions.
For Students enrolled in mentorship:
If you are a student currently enrolled in a mentoring program and need to reschedule your class session, we require a minimum of 4 days' notice to rebook your session, otherwise, that class is due in full and will be forfeited.
Class schedules are typically scheduled in 4-6 hour increments and there are only select days a month that these longer sessions are available.
Workshops/Events/Series:
If you purchase a workshop, series, or event, please read the policies provided in the service you are purchasing carefully.
Makeup classes may be available and each service under this category changes per the offering. Payment is always required at purchase. If you purchase a series and need to miss a class, email your instructor to check the policies. Most missed classes are forfeited; however, there may be a circumstance where this can be worked out on an individual basis
Referral Program:
If you refer a new client to TMS and they purchase a package (a value of $400.00 or more) you receive a complimentary session valued at $150.00 to use at any time. You may choose to receive this in a gift certificate format, and this is transferable. If you leave a Google review, shouting from the rooftops how much you love your sessions, you receive a coupon towards a future service!
